Three-time Masters Champion Nick Faldo has announced he is retiring from CBS Sports as their top golf analyst at the end of this season.
The PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship will be his last broadcast on August 7. Faldo, who is in the final year of his contract with CBS, has been doing the golf telecasts with the network for 16 years.
Faldo says he is ready to cut back on the amount of traveling he’s been doing and is ready to focus on Faldo Design, which focuses on golf course design, and Faldo Series, which focuses on junior golf.
2008 Masters winner Trevor Immelman has been tapped to replace Faldo next year. He signed a multiyear deal that will start with the Farmers Insurance Open next January.
