CSRA News: Body Found Under Bridge on Washington Road
This morning, a call was made to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office in regards to an unresponsive male. At least 5 patrol cars responded to the call on Washington Road under the I-20 bridge. When they arrived, the deputies found the man dead.
The Coroner was called to the scene. No evidence of criminal wrongdoing was present. With temperatures in the 100’s this week, many homeless people are those impacted the most.
“Cody” Blaine Jackson is one half of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on Kicks 99, and also serves as the Digital Program Director for Beasley Media Group in Augusta. She’s a Georgia native but currently resides just across the river in South Carolina. She started in the radio industry as a part-time board operator, and moved up through various roles, including on-air positions and program director for multiple stations.
