CSRA News: Still No Suspects in Homicide in Hephzibah
It’s still not known who shot and killed a Fort Gordon soldier last week in Hephzibah.
The body of 25 year old Alan Newsome was found in the driveway of a home in the 2900 block of Ulm Road just after midnight Friday.
Family and friends gathered at Diamond Lakes Park Tuesday for a balloon release in Newsome’s honor. Investigators say there are still no suspects in the case. Newsome, who had only been married for a few months, was a nurse at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and the father of two young children.
