Rod Stewart Sings ‘You’re In My Heart’ in Video Message to Fan Fighting Cancer
Rod Stewart sent a video message to a fan battling cancer and sang the chorus of “You’re In My Heart,” which is their favorite song.
The video was shared by Good News Movement, who wrote, “Sir Rod Stewart surprises & sings to Gary, a fan whose loving niece Jenna did everything to get through to the British star, all for her uncle with brain cancer. Good News Movement had the honor of connecting with Rod’s family who immediately told us ‘consider it done.'”
Good News Movement added, “They sent over this video which was shown to Gary by his sister (heard on this video) and wife (filming). Gary’s family says it’s the most Gary has spoken and are immensely grateful to the Stewart family.”

Stewart is no stranger to good deeds. In May 2020, he sent a student nurse, who was on a ventilator for 22 days in a coma due to COVID-19, a signed photo and a check for £5,000 ($6,106 USD) after reading a story about her from BBC News.
