UGA Commencement Ceremony – “Georgia On My Mind”
The University of Georgia held its undergraduate commencement ceremony on Friday, May 12th at Sanford Stadium. Due to construction on the stadium, seats were limited. Graduates needed to get a ticket to be on the field. In addition, they had to register for tickets for up to 6 guests, according to the school’s website. For those in attendance, there was one part of the UGA commencement ceremony that brought the crowd to their feet! Mikayla Penn sang “Georgia On My Mind.” Thankfully, her powerful version of the song was filmed and shared for all to enjoy. Here it is for you!
