South Carolina Student Surprised By Coaches
A South Carolina student was recently surprised by the basketball coaches. Carson is a freshman at Philip Simmons High School in Charleston. He serves as the equipment manager for the school’s JV basketball team. But Carson never expected to actually play the game.
You see, Carson has Down Syndrome. But the coaches surprised him and put him in the game. Carson has been so dedicated to the team, it only made sense the coaches give him a shot!
While he never expected to hear his name called, when it was… he was so excited! Carson ran around the gym and got the crowd hyped up. And the best part? He even made a basket!

“Cody” Blaine Jackson is one half of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on Kicks 99, and also serves as the Digital Program Director for Beasley Media Group in Augusta.
