CSRA News: Early Voting in Columbia and Richmond Counties
Early voting for the May 24th primary and nonpartisan election continues this week in Columbia and Richmond Counties.
196 people took advantage of advanced voting in Richmond County on Saturday. 308 cast a ballot in Columbia County. Richmond County Board of Elections officials say just over 1,700 residents took advantage of early voting Monday through Saturday last week. That number topped 2500 in Columbia County. A reminder that early voting hours this week are 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in Richmond County, and 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in Columbia County.
Early voting will also be available this Saturday in both counties from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
