CSRA News: Local Football Coach and Wife in Serious Accident
The head football coach at Aquinas High School and his wife were critically injured in Friday’s deadly multiple vehicle wreck at the intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Troupe Street.
James Leonard and his wife, Katie, are reportedly being treated for multiple injuries and are in intensive care. Their young son was also in the vehicle at the time of the wreck, but he wasn’t hurt. The driver that caused the crash was killed while leading police on a chase. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says the Leonard’s vehicle was hit when the suspect ran a red light.
