CSRA News: Augusta Tech Receives Financial Gifts
Augusta Technical College received a $1 million gift from the Augusta National Golf Club earlier this week to boost its automotive technology program.
On Thursday, South Carolina-based Jim Hudson Automotive Group also donated $1 million to the school to help establish the Automotive Service Training Center in the Laney-Walker Neighborhood. Augusta Tech officials say the $2 million in gifts will cover a substantial portion of the facility, which should be open later this year.
