A Hephzibah man was sentenced to life in prison Monday for drugging and sexually assaulting a family member for years.
The victim told authorities the incidents took place over 600 times between 2014 and 2018 at a home on Storey Mill Road in Hephzibah. Authorities say Nicholas Mims’ assaults resulted in the birth of a child. Mims was sentenced Monday to life in prison, plus 30 years.
