CSRA News: Refunds for Georgia Taxpayers
Georgia taxpayers can look forward to getting some of their hard-earned money back.
Governor Brian Kemp signed a bill Wednesday mandating the refund of more than $1 billion in state surplus money. The state was flush with cash….some $3.7 billion at the end of the last fiscal year.
Georgians who filed state returns in 2020 and in 2021 will be eligible for refunds of $250 to single filers and $500 for married couples who filed jointly.
