Lionel Richie Now Has His Own Ice Cream Flavor Thanks to Tyra Banks
Lionel Richie has been honored in the form of a new ice cream flavor from SMiZE Cream, the ice cream brand founded by supermodel Tyra Banks.

The flavor’s official name is “Lionel Richie’s All Night Love,” a play on the singer’s iconic hit song “All Night Long,” and has a vanilla ice cream base with a midnight cookie crumble swirl and a salted caramel ribbon mixed in. Also joining the party are milk chocolate-covered fudge hearts, and like all other SMiZE Cream flavors, “All Night Love” features a chunk of cookie dough in the middle of the pint container.
Richie told Rolling Stone of the venture, “First of all, ice cream is my jam. It’s almost the same as writing a song. You have musicians and arrangers and your favorites [and] in this case, I’m writing my own song/flavor. [There are] 100 different ways to do each flavor and you find what you like to eat and hopefully it’s what everybody else likes too.”
Banks added about her collaboration with Richie, which is a first for her ice cream brand, “His stratospherically popular music transcends everything and we wanted somebody that kids love, teens love, mamas and daddies love, not just in America, but all around the world.”
SMiZE Cream has a flagship store in Los Angeles, but the brand ships nationwide via SMiZECream.com. Lionel Richie’s All Night Love is currently available for pre-order and will start shipping on September 8.
