Motley Crue Still Unsure Whether ‘The Stadium Tour’ Will Happen
Many tours have been postponed or outright canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but “The Stadium Tour” featuring Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts still has yet to make any sort of announcement regarding its future.
“The Stadium Tour” is set to kick off on June 18, and Motley Crue fans are getting antsy on whether that will happen or not. In the comment section of a recent Instagram post, one fan wrote, “Cancel the tour already so your fans can get their money back. No tours are happening this year. Do the right thing. Bon Jovi did.” The Crue responded with, “Bands don’t decide this. We await info as well.” Another fan wrote, “Is this stadium tour on or off? So confusing with everyone saying different things. Governor said no shows till 2021 so what’s going on? I have VIP.” They replied, “No one has said anything as yet.”
Some bands, like the aforementioned Bon Jovi, are outright canceling their 2020 so fans can obtain fun refunds on their ticket purchases. Many ticket outlets made news recently over the change to their refund policy, which only allowed for ticket holders to receive a refund on their tickets if their show was canceled, not postponed. Since then, Live Nation and AEG have changed their policy to allow for ticket holders to obtain a full refund within 30 days of their event being announced as canceled.
