BREAKING: Gov. Kemp Announces Many Georgia Businesses to Reopen Friday
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp announced Monday that several types of businesses will be allowed to reopen this Friday. The shelter-in-place order put in place to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) across the state, is still active until April 30. (Read the Governor’s full statement here.)
Due to favorable data & more testing, gyms, fitness centers, bowling alleys, body art studios, barbers, cosmetologists, hair designers, nail care artists, estheticians, their respective schools & massage therapists can reopen Friday, April 24 with Minimum Basic Operations. #gapol

Additionally, several other types of businesses will be allowed to reopen on Monday, April 27, the Governor said.
Subject to specific social distancing & sanitation mandates, theaters, private social clubs & restaurant dine-in services will be allowed to reopen on Monday, April 27. We'll release more information in the next few days. #gapol

All of these businesses will have to meet minimum basic operations to be open, including screening workers who show symptoms of illness, as well as increased sanitation.
