Five private colleges in Georgia will be requiring vaccinations ahead of the Fall 2021 semester.  The five colleges are in the Atlanta-area.

The announcement was made Monday that Emory University, Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, the Morehouse School of Medicine and Spelman College will be requiring students to be fully vaccinated prior to beginning the fall semester.

There are dozens of other colleges and universities that have made vaccination a requirement, but these colleges will be the first in the South.

Additionally, all staff must also be fully vaccinated as well.

Do you think other colleges in the area will follow this?  To see President Thomas' letter addressing the update, click here.

In other recent Coronavirus news, Pfizer's CEO says a third vaccine/booster may be needed within a year.  More on that HERE.
