Tom Leadon wasn’t a Heartbreaker, but his musical tribute to Mudcrutch and Epics bandmate Tom Petty certainly tugs at the heartstrings.
Leadon uploaded the video below to YouTube of him performing a new song called “My Best Old Friend.” The video was also shared by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ official Facebook page.
Just a warning: Have a tissue handy, because I couldn’t get through the video without tearing up.
