VIDEO: Gary Clark Jr.’s Cover Of “Come Together” For ‘Justice League’
The video for Gary Clark Jr.‘s rendition of the Beatles‘ “Come Together,” recorded for the new Justice League film, is out, mixing footage from the movie with shots of Clark performing the song.
The track has been in heaving rotation and rising on Billboard’s Rock charts, and Clark tells us he’s thrilled to be involved in the highly anticipated movie:
“I was basically sitting around, got a phone call, said, ‘This ‘Justice League’ thing is happening. Don’t tell anybody about it. We want you to be part of this music’…I’m into all that. I think that’s why my knees are bad; I used to, I cut up my dad’s old, like, silk robe and tried to turn it into a Batman cape and jump off the roof of my house thinking I was Batman, and that didn’t work really well so I had to figure something else out. So I’ve been a fan for a long time of all this, so it’s really cool to be part of it.”
Justice League comes out November 17, while Clark will be performing “Come Together” on November 2 on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
