Latest Dylan ‘Bootleg Series’ Boxset Due Out This Fall

Bob Dylan‘s controversial “born again” period will be the subject of the next entry in his Bootleg Series.

Trouble No More — The Bootleg Series Vol. 13/1979-1981 will cover the three albums Dylan recorded after embracing Christianity (he’s since returned to Judaism) — 1979’s Mark Knopfler produced Slow Train Coming, 1980’s Saved and 1981’s Shot Of Love — on a massive eight-disc/DVD collection.

Due out November 3, Trouble No More includes 100 previously unreleased studio and live recordings, the latter coming from a 1980 shows in Toronto and 1981 concerts in London. The bonus DVD includes Trouble No More — A Musical Film which features unreleased footage from Dylan’s 1980 tour and more, as well as full-performance videos of six songs. The film will be premiered at the New York Film Festival this fall before the box set’s release.

Dylan and his band will be on the road to coincide with the set: His next tour begins October 13 in Valley Center, Calif, and runs through November 16 in Boston.
