ICYMI: Bob Seger Confirms New Album On The Way
Bob Seger has confirmed that he’ll have a new album out in November.
During his home town concert on Saturday night (September 9) at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in suburban Detroit, Seger told fans that he’d planned to release a new single the previous day and perform it that night, but that it was delayed. He did, however, say that the song will be out by the time he returns to perform on September 23 at the Palace of Auburn Hills, also in suburban Detroit, and will perform the song at that show.
Seger did not release titles, release dates or any other information about the album, although an announcement is expected soon. The album will be Seger’s 18th studio album and first since Ride Out in 2014.
Seger recently added six new shows to his Runaway Train Tour itinerary, including stops in Oakland, Boise, Portland, Seattle and St. Paul before the trek wraps up on Nov. 17 in Chicago.
