Sabbath’s ‘The End of The End’ Coming To Theaters September 28
Black Sabbath‘s final concert is headed to the big screen this fall.
The End Of The End, a feature from the legendary metal group’s February 4 farewell show in its hometown of Birmingham, England, will screen in more than 1,500 theaters around the world on September 28. The film was directed by Dick Carruthers, who did the honors for Led Zeppelin‘s Celebration Day in 2007, and it’s expected to be released for home video at some point later this year.
Ozzy Osbourne tells us that Sabbath finished its farewell tour, and its career, with a great degree of pride and a sense it had reclaimed its legacy and brotherhood after some difficult times:
“We started off as four guys from Aston who had a dream and it became true beyond our wildest dreams, and then it all got…We were manipulated. We were ripped off. We were conned, all of the above. And at the end of the day…we lost each other within each other, if you like.”
