You never expected it, but now their life is in your hands in a way. If you find yourself in that position, it's good to have a way with words. That's something Jon Bon Jovi has proven he can do well over the years. Now, he's taking his skills as a wordsmith away from lyrics and into helping save a woman from jumping off a bridge. According to TMZ, the "Livin' On A Prayer" singer was filming a music video for his song "People's House" on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville when he noticed a woman in need of help. It looks like she was getting ready to jump off the famous bridge but then Jon Bon Jovi approached her and convinced her not to end her life. It's a bold decision to try because you'd feel guilty if it didn't go as planned, but good on him! Actually, it sounds like helping people is kind of his thing. I never knew how much he did for others until now. TMZ reports that Bon Jovi often deals with people in a crisis from hunger to homelessness and does a lot with his JBJ SOUL FOUNDATION. He even helped her over the railing, like a gentleman. Nashville PD Chief John Drake applauded the singer for taking action. It remains unclear what he said to the woman, but clearly it worked. He was there at the right time and was the right person to help. It looks like he chose the right spot and the right time to film that music video. Who knows how that would have ended if Jon and the crew weren't around to witness the situation and make the choice to step in. It could have been very easy to sit there and watch it unfold hoping she doesn't jump. Instead, they took action and most likely saved a life in doing so. Hopefully the woman finds the help she needs. https://youtu.be/LD8tI70uG4c?si=US0u53yqwGXcQ3Se
