When I realized It’s Cranky Co-Workers Day, We Have A Few, I wanted you to meet ours. Now please know that this is just fun and I have the greatest co-workers on earth. We all have to those people we work with that it takes till about 10 or maybe their 3rd cup of coffee before we they wake up. It may be the person who gets to work early and by the time it’s time to go home they’ve had enough of you and work. LOL
Ways To Celebrate
If you do know of a person that is cranky at work, let’s find ways to brighten their day and maybe help them not be so cranky. Here are some things that could help.
- Buy them their favorite drink
- Leave a note to have a good day
- When you take work issues to me, say good morning and wish them a good day before you hit work stuff
- Put candy on their desk
- remember their birthday
- Cards
- Get with the non-cranky workers and make fun of the cranky ones
- Or just leave them alone altogether
- Buy them lunch
Ways Not To Celebrate
When you have these people at work or in your life, your wife or husband, here are some ways not to celebrate Crank Co-Workers Day. Trust me, I’ve learned just about every one of these firsthand.
- Don’t play pranks or scare them (Mary Liz)
- Don’t take the last cup of coffee and not make another
- Speak to them before they wake up
- Talk loudly to them
- In most cases, let them come to you first
In all seriousness, I think the older we get the grumpier we get, does not mean you or them are bad people, We don’t know what people are dealing with that makes them grumpy or maybe they just aren’t morning people. Studies show that being in a constant cranky mood can negatively impact physical and mental health, not only of the cranky person but of their colleagues too. On the opposite side, research shows that employees having fun in their workplaces will likely be more productive, learn new skills more easily, and bond more with co-workers.
Meet the wonderful Cranky, I Mean great co-workers of mine here at The Beasley Media Group Of Augusta. Again, this is all in fun and I truly love all of my co-workers!
