Covid-19 put a stop to a lot of things – especially some elements of the food industry and how we would eat. Takeout orders were at their peak and buffets became limited to nonexistent. Shared food serving tools and standing in line next to other people didn’t stand a chance. Now three years later some of those elements are coming back, slowly but surely. Even the buffets in Augusta are getting back in the groove.

Here are a few buffets that you can check out in the area.

  If you haven’t heard, their buffet is back! Back in March Harvest Table decided to go back buffet style. The restaurant is located off of Gordon Highway, offering homestyle southern and American dishes.

• Izumi Japanese Restaurant

  All you can eat sushi? Yeahp that’s right. This Japanese style sushi buffet is located on Washington Rd. They offer more than just sushi –  like seafood, salads and soups just to name a few.

• The Chef's House

  I’ve heard that this is the spot if you love a good peach cobbler! This is another southern kitchen that has a variety of the south’s favorite comfort foods.

• Angie's Steak "N" Seafood

  If you didn’t know about it, you’d probably miss it! Located in Thomson, Georgia this seafood buffet has it all! From the shrimp to crawfish. Just as the name suggests, you can even enjoy one of the popular dishes – steak and crab legs combo.

• Pinckney's Home Cooking Restaurant

  If those southern spots weren’t enough, we’ve got another one for you! Located in North Augusta, they’ve got your home away from home – cooking.

• Bj Country Buffet

  It’s the south! So you know we love our southern comfort food. This restaurant is located off of Martintown Rd, in North Augusta. They offer southern classics like fried chicken, mac and cheese and more.

• Lunch Buffets In Augusta

  But wait! there’s more. Some restaurants only serve buffet style it at special times or days.

• Taj of India

  We’ve got the Indian cuisines right here in Augusta. This eatery has a lunch buffet that includes curries, breads, veggies and more.

• Giuseppe's Pizza & Italian Specialties

  This spot serves traditional Italian favorites with a pizza lunch buffet each weekday.

• Andrew’s Restaurant

  Every weekday from 11am-2pm this restaurant has a Southern-style buffet with different foods. It is located at the Double Tree by Hilton Augusta.

• Edgar's Grille

  Now brunch is whole different topic, but Edgar’s serves a brunch buffet on Sundays only. There is a variety of dishes on display that caters to your breakfast and lunch needs.
