Their Story:
My daughter and her family have had a rough year. Just last year they learned my 3-year-old grandson, Westin, needed major surgeries to correct his hips due to hip dysplasia. In January 2023 he underwent two major surgeries and endured 4 spica casts, countless appointments, and checkups.
Now my 1-year-old grandson also has the condition. His first major surgery is scheduled for January 2024. In the midst, the boys’ dad lost his job and was in between jobs looking for a light in the dark.
They’ve just had “bad luck” or something is “always happening”. It’s been one thing after another. They nearly lost the roof over their head.. instead, they lost their second vehicle.
Dad is back working recently, with promising hours, so they’ll be able to catch up soon. Praise God.
A Christmas miracle would brighten them up. They need a little light to shine on them and especially the two younger boys who have hip dysplasia.
The Love Family was nominated by Tammy Sprouse.
Christmas Wish Family Two: The Williams Family
The family has a 10 year old girl and a 13 year old boy.

Here’s Their Story:
I would like to nominate my sister, Teresa Williams, age 56, as a recipient of the 2023 Christmas Wish. She has 2 grandchildren ages 10 and 12 which she adopted 8 years ago and has had custody of both children since birth. She works a full-time job and has a husband on disability that she also takes care of.
She has had so many struggles this past year that it leaves no extra money for Christmas. She had a wreck which was the fault of the other driver and her car was totaled. She had emergency gall bladder surgery in October which put her out of work for a few weeks.
She is always willing to help other people any time she can.
Her washing machine is currently broken so she has to go to the laundromat to wash clothes. She gets no financial assistance since she chooses to work. She is not receiving any other Christmas help this year. It would be such a blessing to her family if you could help the 2 children for Christmas.
The Williams Family was nominated by Kathy Eubanks.
Christmas Wish Family Three: Julie Gantt & Tyler

Here’s Their Story:
Julie is my cousin and the mother of a special boy to all of us Tyler! Tyler was born at just 26 weeks entering the world at 1lb 3oz, Tyler was a twin but unfortunately, baby Salena didn’t make it through the early delivery. Tyler was hospitalized in the NICU until he was a full-term baby boy. Battling everything from breathing on his own to eating on his own.
But God had big plans for this special new addition to our family! He and his mother stayed with my family after Tyler came home from the hospital. Tyler came home with heart monitors, an oxygen tank, and a lot of sleepless nights we stayed up watching him just to make sure he was ok!
Tyler was born with a brain bleed on the speech-hearing part of his brain causing him to have a speech underdevelopment and become partially deaf. Through tons of doctor visits and therapy’s fast forward he started complaining of pain through testing and his mom is missing work going back and forth to the ER and all the special doctors.
Tyler was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. How much more can this boy have to go through? I want to bless him and his mom. It’s been a long year of chemo and doctor visits If anyone deserves to be blessed, they sure do.
Julie and Tyler were nominated by Sara Thatcher.
Christmas Wish Family Four: Janet Knox & Family

Here’s Her Story:
Hey Kicks 99!!! I’m nominating my mother Janet Knox who is raising my niece, which is her granddaughter. It takes all she has to be able to make ends meet. Last year she had a really scary accident where her veins busted in her leg and she was out of work for awhile. And she also went through a separation, so it’s been really rough on her this year. And I’m unable to really help her because I recently adopted my sister’s other baby. But my mom is caring and kind hearted. She works at the school as a janitor and sometimes will clean on the side. She would give anybody her last and it breaks my heart knowing that Rhyleigh’s Christmas is in jeopardy this year !
Janet Knox was nominated by Cassandra Hayner.
Christmas Wish Family Five: Michelle Jordan

Here’s Her Story:
From Robbie: I want to nominate this lovely family who deserves the help she needs to get her back on her feet. To start from the beginning, Michelle and her 3 children aged 16, 9 and 3 unexpectedly and suddenly lost their father/husband who also was the sole provider of their beautiful family of 5. Joseph worked 3 jobs to be the man he needed to support his family as their youngest son was born 7 weeks premature in the midst of COVID.
In August 2021 Joseph without warning lost his life leaving this shattered and broken family of 4 to learn life without him, as well as financial stress and worries, that was not something they were used too. Since her husband’s passing, Michelle has not been able to catch the slightest of breaks.
She was illogically evicted from her house that she rented a short few months after husbands passing. Her landlord wanted to help alleviate whatever it was she could for Michelle as Michelle and Joe have been high school sweethearts creating a beautiful life together for 16 years.
Once her landlord received a payment of $35,000 from a government assistance rental program, she then hired a bunch of men to enter Michelle’s home while she was out and throw all of her belongings outside like trash. Almost all of her items were ruined, broken, damaged, destroyed and stolen.
From Christian: I am nominating my mom because my dad passed away and then we were thrown out of our house and everything was ruined and stolen including our Christmas presents my mom couldn’t afford that weren’t even opened. Then my mom’s car was destroyed by someone after it wasn’t covered for accidents. Then she was robbed and had my dad’s money she was saving to get him a headstone. Three years later, he still doesn’t have one. Then her best friend died.
My mom can’t work because she owes too much money from people hurting my mom. My mom works so hard everyday doing anything she can to make up for my dad’s loss and give me and my siblings everything we need and want. She is the best mom ever and deserves the world. There is so much more to add in her story of why I nominate her and all her bad luck but these are probably the biggest ones.
She has not had it even a little easy since my dad died. She says it that “her purpose in life is to be tortured” I hear her cry in the bathroom all the time asking God to take her and bring my dad back. Another time I heard her on the phone with a suicide line. My mom has met a lot of people who wanted to help her and they only really hurt her. She lost all of her stuff and my dad’s stuff too.
Michelle Jordan was nominated by Christian Jordan and Robbie Gaffney.
