I-520 Night Work Begins: Road Repairs Between Deans Bridge and Mike Padgett

Starting May 5, crews will block off parts of I-520 in Augusta to fix broken concrete. The work zone stretches from Exit 5 to Exit 9. Workers will be out from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The work targets the stretch from Deans Bridge Road to Mike Padgett Highway. Workers are resurfacing this part of Bobby Jones Expressway. 

Lanes could be closed overnight during the next few months. Motorists should use caution and reduce their speed.
