Veterans Day is a federal holiday that is celebrated annually on November 11. With the holiday falling on a Saturday this year, the holiday is being observed on Friday, November 10. Veterans Day is a time to honor active and former United States Armed Forces members.
For Veterans Day, restaurants and businesses across the nation celebrate them and recognize their sacrifice on this holiday by offering Veterans and active-duty military personnel free meals, deals, and discounts.
The great thing about this is that the community gets really involved, so there are so many deals out for Veterans, but unfortunately, all of them won't be listed here!

Applebee’s
On Saturday, November 11 in celebration of Veterans Day, Applebee’s will give thanks to all Active Duty Military, Veterans, Reserves, and National Guard who dine in-restaurant with a complimentary full-size entrée from an exclusive menu created just for them and $5 towards their next meal.
Applebee’s 2023 Veterans Day Menu includes a choice of seven popular entrées including:

- Classic Bacon Cheeseburger
- Chicken Tenders Platter
- Double Crunch Shrimp
- Fiesta Lime Chicken®
- Oriental Chicken Salad

IHOP Veterans Day deal: Free pancakes
IHOP will be giving Veterans and active-duty military a free Red, White, and Blueberry Pancakes entrée or Pancake Combo on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Dunkin' Veterans Day: Free doughnuts
On Saturday, Dunkin’ will give all retired and active military a free doughnut of their choice at participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Free boneless wings
Veterans and current armed services members with valid ID get a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries on Saturday.
Golden Corral: Military Appreciation Night
All Golden Corral locations will give active military and Veterans a free Military Appreciation Night dinner (buffet and beverage) on Monday starting at 5 p.m. until closing. (Available for dine-in only; no military ID required; free dinner not available for spouse or family members.)
