Each year, USA Today compiles the Readers' Choice awards.  Businesses and locations are listed in various categories, and the readers are encouraged to vote for their favorites. This year, Jekyll Island Club Resort, located in Jekyll Island, Georgia, is nominated in two categories for the Readers' Choice 2023. The resort was nominated in the "Best Destination Resort" category, as well as the "Best Family Resort" category.

This resort has something for everyone.  They offer three resort experiences so you can plan your ideal getaway. You have the choice of historic charm of the Jekyll Island Club.  But you can also stay in the Island Cottages or enjoy ocean views from their beachfront resort.

All three of the accommodation options share the deluxe amenities for the whole family.  There's beach access, swimming pools, fire pits, biking, kayaking, and more. The resort is on 5,700 acres with plenty to entertain the family, along with various dining options. They also offer shuttle services, a fitness center, and shopping.

In 2022, Jekyll Island Club Resort earned the Four Diamond Award from AAA.  And in 2021, it was voted number 4 for Best Resorts in Georgia according to the U.S. News & World Report.

Voting

Voting for the "Best Family Resort" and "Best Destination Resort" ends at noon on Monday, August 7th.  The 10 winners will be announced on Friday, August 18th at noon.
