Peach Cobbler Factory is Coming to Augusta

Author Darasha
July 17th 12:51 PM

Have you ever heard of the Peach Cobbler Factory? Well, if you haven’t just yet, you most likely will soon.

Peach Cobbler Factory is nothing new in Georgia, let alone the United States. They have 19 locations in Georgia, with their 20th location coming right here to Augusta, Ga.

There has been no word on where the exact location will end up.

Now, it has been no secret that Georgia is not having the best peach season this year. Even the Atlanta location ran out of peaches and had to pivot to apple cobbler. Which actually doesn’t sound bad at all!

The late spring frost has caused a lot of crops this year to be lost like blueberries, peaches, and strawberries. Georgia alone lost 90% of this years crops due to the spring frosts.

What does Peach Cobbler Factory offer?

  • 12 flavors of premium cobblers
  • 12 flavors of banana pudding
  • Varieties of cinnamon rolls
  • Cookies
  • Milkshakes

While we don’t have much information on this new business, the Augusta community via social media seems to be very excited to be getting another new spot in town.

Blueberry Picking Season Has Arrived! Here's Where to Pick them in Augusta

It’s National pick blueberries day, the perfect time of the year to get to picking!  As I was finding locations around the CSRA that allow you to pick your own blueberries, I ran across an unfortunate pattern. Most of the crops at the farms nearby have been damaged because of frost. This has caused them to not have any products to pick from for this year’s season. Below, I have listed those farms in the CSRA that would normally have Blueberries to pick, as well as the current blueberry farms in Augusta and surrounding areas that currently do have them.

  • Sweetwater Creek Farm
  • Blue House Farm
  • Herb N Berries
  • Mountain View Farm Blueberries
  • Berry Hill
  • Double A
  • Gurosik’s Berry Plantation

This patch is located in North Augusta and is only a 24 minute drive from Augusta, Ga.

  • Smith blueberry farm

This blueberry farm is located in the Midlands of South Carolina, in Leesville, Sc.

  • Sunny Day Farms

This patch is located in Louisville, Ga and is about a 50 minute drive from Augusta, Ga.

  • byne blueberry

The Byne Blueberry Farm is in Waynesboro, Ga.
