Elton John is used to singing his songs for the masses. However, it's rare his songs are sung at him and by a football club, no less.
On Saturday night (June 3), Manchester City shared a video on Twitter showing Sir Elton welcoming the team home at Manchester Airport. Man City defeated Manchester United at Wembley Stadium in England earlier that day to win the FA Cup.
As John hugged the players on the tarmac, the team started to sing his classic hit "Your Song."
The exact reason why Sir Elton was at Manchester Airport when Man City arrived is unknown, but it's likely due to his farewell tour. John is playing his final dates in his native U.K. through June 18. He'll then head to other European countries to finally wrap up his long-running "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour.
