Augusta To Host 2nd Annual Community Engagement Forum Next Month
The City of Augusta has announced that it will be hosting another community engagement forum. The purpose of the forum is for citizens to learn about the services the city offers and give feedback on the city’s proposed budget for 2024.
The second annual Augusta on Display event is to take place on June 3, 2022, from 9 am-12 pm. It will be held at the Julian Smith Casino.
It will be three hours, during which the public will have a chance to meet their elected and city officials, have one-on-one conversations with representatives from city departments, and share their opinions on how they think the city should spend tax dollars.
Bring the kids along – there will be bounce houses, entertainment, and a variety of government vehicles to tour.
