William and Kathryn Dye started Outdoor Equipment Co. in 1957, in the family’s backyard. Eventually, Outdoor Equipment Co. outgrew the backyard and the business moved to the current location on Peach Orchard Road in 1968. Their son, Steve, took to repairing equipment and found a love for working with customers. After seeing a need for a rental company, Grand Rental Station and son-in-law, Billy Gamblin, joined the business in 1991. Their motto: “Treat the customer the way you would want to be treated,” has allowed Outdoor Equipment Co. to grow a business dedicated to customer satisfaction with mechanics that have over 30 years of experience.

Harry’s Equipment Center is a family-owned business with Harry’s wife Bonnie, his son Jeff, and daughter-in-law Ginger, all working by his side. Harry proudly bases his reputation on his experiences as well as the experience of his sales staff that has over 51 years of experience. They are one of the largest multi-line dealers in the area, and have a large selection of power equipment for the professional landscaper as well as a homeowner. Harry’s also sells parts and has a great service department for tune-ups and maintenance.
