CSRA News: Reward Offered in Burke County Missing Person Case
A sizeable reward has been offered in hopes of solving a years-old missing person case in Burke County. It’s been six years since Simon Powell disappeared and investigators say they believe Powell is the victim of foul play.
In hopes of clearing the cold case, Sheriff Alphonzo Williams is offering a $30,000 reward for information that either brings Powell home or clears up his disappearance. Williams say neither an arrest or conviction is required, only that the information is credible and leads to a resolution of Powell’s fate.
