CSRA News: Boy Shot at Diamond Lakes Regional Park

A 14 year old boy was shot at Diamond Lakes Regional Park off Windsor Spring Road in Richmond County on Easter and authorities have three men in custody in connection with the incident.

The boy told investigators three men approached he and a friend and said they would shoot one of them.  During a brief scuffle, the boy said BB gun fell out of his book bag as they were trying to get away. The victim said four or five shots were fired at them.  One of the boys had shrapnel on one side of his neck. The three suspects fled in a U-haul truck that was found later on Madrid Drive.

Xaviar Grinage, Treyvion Grinage and Charles Grinage face numerous charges.  Charles was charged with battery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
