CSRA News: Augusta Free Blood Tests for Lead Exposure
The City of Augusta is offering free blood testing for lead exposure in children.
A child will qualify for the free testing if they spend significant time in a home that was built before 1978 or with a person who works in a facility with exposure to lead. The City of Augusta’s Lead Hazard Reduction Program is partnering with the Richmond County Health Department to offer the testing on Monday, April 11, from 9:00 a.m. until noon at May Park Community Center on Fourth Street.
