Aiken Regional Medical Centers is hosting a hiring event this week for its new freestanding emergency room slated to open in North Augusta this summer.
ER at Sweetwater is under construction on Austin Graybill Road. The nearly 11,000 square foot facility will be a full-service emergency department that will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and continuously staffed by a physician.
Aiken Regional is holding a hiring event this Thursday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in North Augusta on Stephens Farm Lane. They’re looking for nurses, CT/X-ray technologists, medical technologists and patient access representatives. Sign-on bonuses will be available for selection positions.

“Cody” Blaine Jackson is one half of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on Kicks 99, and also serves as the Digital Program Director for Beasley Media Group in Augusta.
