CSRA News: Arrest Made In Augusta Shooting Death
Richmond County authorities have made an arrest in connection with a shooting death late last month in Augusta.
The body of 19 year old Johndrick Oliphant was found on Stone Road near Travis Road around 10:30 p.m. on January 28. He had been shot at least one time.
Twenty nine year old James Marquis Leverett of Augusta was arrested Tuesday and charged with Oliphant’s murder. Authorities say a warrant for Oliphant’s arrest for the murder of Khalil Baker had been issued just five days before he was killed.
