Augusta Group Helping Families In Need
Back to school time is here. And while most parents are happy to send the kids back to school, it can also be a very stressful time. The cost of back to school supplies can really add up, especially when you have more than just one child.
One local group here in Augusta is making a difference this weekend.
Fairytale Dreams Augusta is a group that helps bring your kids fairy tale dreams come true. They bring magic to life and perform at birthday parties and events.
But this Saturday, they are hosting a free family event. The Fairytale Dreams Family Fair will be at 3126 Parrish Road in Augusta. It kicks off at 10am with free admission and activities. They will also have vendors, services and programs for families and of course entertainment that includes your kids favorite princesses and superheroes!
The event will help local families that need food and/or school supplies. And you can help! Bring canned good or school supplies to donate, or purchase raffle tickets– a portion of the proceeds will be used to purchase items for families in need.
