Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr both issued brief statements honoring John Lennon on the 40th anniversary of his tragic death.
Both McCartney and Starr shared photos of themselves with Lennon on social media. McCartney’s photo was accompanied by the following statement:”A sad sad day but remembering my friend John with the great joy he brought to the world.
