The world is mourning the loss of actor Chadwick Boseman, who passed away on Friday (8/28), after a 4-year battle with colon cancer. No one knew about Boseman’s illness, as he continued to work through surgeries and treatments.
In 2018, Boseman delivered the commencement speech to Howard University’s graduating class, and his words of encouragement carry even more weight now, knowing the struggles that he was secretly facing in his own life.
Rest in peace, Chadwick.
