COLUMBIA COUNTY COMMISSION CHAIRMAN DOUG DUNCAN HELD A NEWS CONFERENCE THIS MORNING AND REITERATED THERE WILL BE NO MANDATORY CLOSINGS OF NON-ESSENTIAL BUSINESSES IN THE COUNTY TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THE CORONAVIRUS….PROVIDED CDC GUIDELINES ARE FOLLOWED.
NO MORE THAN TEN PEOPLE CAN GATHER IN ONE LOCATION AND THEY SHOULD REMAIN AT LEAST SIX FEET APART.
COUNTY OFFICIALS SAID BUSINESSES WILL BE MONITORED AND THOSE NOT FOLLOWING THE CDC’S GUIDELINES WILL BE ORDERED TO CLOSE DURING THE PANDEMIC.
