Meat Loaf Denies Climate Change, Says Greta Thunberg is ‘Brainwashed’
Meat Loaf touched on the topic of climate change in a new interview, as well as climate change activist Greta Thunberg.
Meat Loaf said to U.K.’s The Daily Mail, “I feel for Greta. She has been brainwashed into thinking that there is climate change and there isn’t. She hasn’t done anything wrong but she’s been forced into thinking that what she is saying is true.”
Despite Meat Loaf’s beliefs, NASA reports, “Multiple studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals show that 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists agree: Climate-warming trends over the past century are extremely likely due to human activities. In addition, most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position.”
In the interview with The Daily Mail, Meat Loaf also talks about his recent 70-pound weight loss and gave some advice for those looking to shed some pounds.
“I will tell you how to lose weight. Look at the fat and the sugar content. Don’t worry about the calories,” said Meat Loaf. “Don’t eat anything over 5g of fat and 3g of sugar. I once did a low carb diet and lost 70lbs but I put it all back on.”
