Bruce Springsteen likes to surprise fans every now and again on his YouTube page, and this morning featured two surprises in the form of live cuts.

One of those live tracks was a performance of “Spirit In the Night” from 1973 show at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles.

The other track is the audio recording of Springsteen’s performance of “The Promised Land” from his set at A Night of Valor, a 2014 concert that took place from The National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Veterans Day. The clip’s preview image features the cast of Blinded By The Light, the upcoming film about a British-Pakistani teenager in the 1980’s who’s passionate about poetry and then his passion is turned upside down when a classmate introduces him to the music of The Boss.
