Alice In Chains Release Delightfully Absurd Video for “Rainier Fog”
For those of you that always wanted to see Alice in Chains raise a personified beer bottle like their very own group child Three Men and a Baby-style, today just got amazing.
AIC just released the video for “Rainier Fog,” and it follows the band on a strange journey of picking up a wild beer bottle after striking it with their car. Considering the wacky premise, it should come as no surprise to fans that the video was directed by Peter Darley Miller, who was behind the band’s NONA Tapes and the 2009 EPK for the album Black Gives Way to Blue.
In a statement from Jerry Cantrell, the vocalist/guitarist said, “We had a great time working with Peter Darley Miller again. We made AIC 23 in 2013 with him, which was amazing. We had a blast making the ‘Rainier Fog’ music video, which continues the northwest theme of the record. We hope you enjoy it and have a laugh.”
Drummer Sean Kinney added, “In a world where things are becoming increasingly serious, with ‘Rainier Fog’ we have continued our long tradition of making asses out of ourselves in videos. So for all of you that were raised bottle-fed, this one is for you. Mission accomplished.”
