Dave Grohl Makes Surprise Appearance at Ronnie James Dio Charity Concert
Whether it’s busking in Seattle or drumming at a charity concert, you never know where Dave Grohl will show up.
Yesterday (May 5), was the 5th annual Ride for Ronnie motorcycle ride and concert event raising money for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, and at the concert portion of the event, Grohl stopped by. He joined Ricky Warwick, Robbie Crane and Keith Nelson behind the drum kit for two covers: Thin Lizzy’s “Jailbreak” and Motorhead’s “Bomber,” which can be seen below.
Grohl will be returning to the stage with the Foo Fighters later this week when the band headlines the Epicenter Festival in Rockingham, N.C. on May 11.
