Guns N’ Roses Touring in October, Followed By Work on New Album
Guns N’ Roses recently were named headliners for the Louder Than Life festival taking place September 27-29 in Louisville, Ky., but it looks like that won’t be the band’s only show in 2019.
Slash recently spoke with Chile radio station Futuro 88.9 FM and gave an update on some of GN’R’s plans in 2019. After he completes his solo tour dates with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, the guitarist said he’s, “…gonna hook up with Guns N’ Roses. Guns N’ Roses has a small tour in October.”
While none of those dates other than Louder Than Life have been announced, Slash said GN’R would then start work on an album. However, as of right now, that project is in its very early stages.
“There’s been so much talk about this Guns N’ Roses record, which we haven’t actually done anything with. So we’re gonna sort of focus on that, ” said Slash.
Slash’s next batch of solo shows kicks off May 3 with an appearance at the Domination Festival in Mexico City. A full list of upcoming tour dates can be found at SlashOnline.com.
