The Who Announce “Moving On!” Tour Dates
After discussing details of their symphony tour last week, The Who has unveiled the 29 summer and fall 2019 dates of their “Moving On!” tour in North America.
Broken up into two legs, the first leg of The Who’s “Moving On!” tour kicks off May 7 in Grand Rapids, Mich. and wraps June 1 in Toronto, while the second leg begins September 6 in St. Paul, Minn. and ends October 23 in Edmonton, Alb., Canada. Each tour stop will see the band partner up with local symphonies for orchestral interpretations of their classic songs.
The “Moving On!” tour coincides with the release of The Who’s upcoming studio album, their first in 13 years. While an album release date is currently TBA, every pair of tickets purchased online for the “Moving On!” tour includes a code for fans to redeem for a CD copy of the album.
Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, January 18 at LiveNation.com. while The Who’s fan club presale starts Wednesday, January 16 at 10 AM local time through Thursday, January 17 at 10 PM local time.
