Dave Grohl on AC/DC: Phil Rudd is Back
While no official statement has been released, Dave Grohl may have spilled the beans about a major change in the AC/DC lineup.
In an interview with Forbes, Grohl was asked who would be a dream drum gig and responded, “AC/DC. That’s my last one, that’s it. Phil Rudd is back though. If you dive back into their back catalog, that early sh*t, there was a little bit more dynamic, then they settled into the groove. That’s the thing. And it’s because of Phil Rudd. It’s AC/DC, but that guy holds the key.”
Rudd and singer Brian Johnson were reportedly spotted earlier this year in Vancouver on the patio of Warehouse Studio, which is where AC/DC recorded their last three studio albums.
Hopefully, we’ll get a confirmation on the state of AC/DC soon.
