ICYMI: U2 Records at Third Man Records
U2 is busy on tour, but they managed to carve out some time during their stop in Nashville to visit Jack White’s Third Man Records where they recorded audio for a new special vinyl release.
The band did a direct-to-acetate recording of “Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way” and “Red Flag Day” off their latest album Songs of Experience. Instead of recording in Third Man’s “Blue Room,” U2 set up shop literally in the Third Man Records storefront.
While a release date hasn’t been announced yet, fans got a preview of what to expect from U2’s Facebook live video of the recording.
