Way To Go, Neil Diamond Fans!
Neil Diamond fans are turning a negative to a positive after the legendary singer-songwriter had to cancel his remaining tour dates and retire from touring altogether.
Diamond, of course, went public this week with his diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease, which resulted in the Australia/New Zealand leg of his 50th anniversary tour being canceled. However, fans are instead taking their refunds and donating them to various charities and organizations, including ones that focus on Parkinson’s research.
Wow, I’ve received a bunch of messages from people in Aus & NZ who are donating their ticket refunds to good causes: Parkinson’s research, animal rescue groups, fire victim funds, etc. My heart is so full of joy to see this silver lining. Faith in humanity = restored. Thank you!

Word got back to Diamond, and he shared via Twitter, “This makes me smile. Thank you. Thank you to everyone for your outpouring of love and support. It makes a difference.”
