LAS VEGAS, NV - JULY 29: Singer Roger Daltrey of The Who performs on the first night of the band's residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on July 29, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Who’s Roger Daltrey will be writing about his amazing journey in music, and in life, next year.

Daltrey has announced an August 2018 publication for his memoir, as-yet-untitled, with Henry Holt and Co. in the U.S. and Blink Publishing in the U.K. The book will cover Daltrey’s time with The Who, as well as his solo work, his charity endeavors and his personal life, as well as musings on Britain and how it’s changed over the years.

Daltrey’s Who mate Pete Townshend released a memoir of his own, Who I Am, in 2012.

Townshend, meanwhile, has announced he’ll be spending much of 2018 playing the Ferryman in The Seeker, a new theater musical by his wife, Rachel Fuller. The piece is based on the Hermane Hesse book Siddharta and features several songs by Townshend.  A cast album will also be released next year.
